Old Souls 1 Evolving Spirituality, Christ Consciousness or Christ /Savior
Among the new age devotees, to be called an old soul is a flattering label. It recognizes one who has evolved to a higher strata of spirituality. Christians on the other hand, reject this notion. Why? What is the difference between discovering Christ Consciousness and Christ the Savior?

I agree. Humblenness is an expression of high spirituality. Meek and humble folk don’t boast of that which has been given as a free gift. You can determine my belief through my videos. A few lines here can not cover the matter.
And what are your beliefs? I think that the ones who are considered old souls are actually the most humble people on this planet.
Thanks for sharing. I was entirely in accord with this viewpoint once. And then another kind of God encounter led me in a whole different direction. This direction addresses the question of knowing God but through the gateway of a person not a principle. It also reconsiders the nature of man – as a fallen entity that can not earn redemption to godliness in one’s self. cc
we are beyond a point of discussing and speculation – for us now to choose to speak of any other reality but inner silence – free of thought / duality /, where no judgement can lay and no [self] condemnation can reasonably exist ; where no guilt can be projected and no sin can be seen – for all are innocent in the reality that we are all thoughtless MINDS lost in thought – thought is error, image is error – it is human made – we are lost in perception – we hide “god” behind our thoughts – behold
and if One knows not of GOD or Truth, nor knows where to find it, he cannot say to another – “go here,” or “do not go there”;
but he can simply encourage one’s spirit to continue his conscious search; this persons choices will reflect their level of awareness –
The point is not to understand by accumulating material knowledge. It is to release thought entirely – to understand the function and inner process of MIND/HEART – to transcend to the reality of Spirit.
My friend,
I would like to invite you to understand a simple Truth. That time is of no importance – whether ancient doctrines and scriptures – or new age. The truth is not subject to time’s effects, nor can it be changed by new or old ideas. The truth can be found in all that exists – for no thing can be apart from it –
one cannot judge; and it is deceptive to have one avoid a particular path without giving the alternative to Truth.
Spiritual deception abounds. The same themes are in evidence: promised enlightenment; achieving inner peace; releasing your god self; merchandised; karma and old souls concepts; Hidden wisdom; How vain to stand as a ‘great one’; In my search I found nothing confirmable; no agreement on foundational principles. Alas I still have a family member who is caught in the self deception and the vain maze of New Age ‘enlightenment.’
You know what, I did get a little away from that theme. What I am working on now is the state of the church in 2009, the New Age topic will be revisited in due time.charlie

The belief in the old soul always has the “hiss” of the serpent. Pride is always the sin at the center of the “I am god” belief.
